Gaara by Felsus

Here’s another piece drawn by the wonderful , this one a follow-up to my previous commission. The Sasuke picture turned out so well that it got me to thinking... Still framing this in the context of the Chūnin Exam bout between Gaara and Sasuke, it seemed a tad unfair to stick a regular version of Gaara in the arena with the newly-pumped Über-Sasuke. I decided it was only sporting that Gaara be given the chance to bulk up as well so as to level the playing field.

Thus was born Über-Gaara of the Desert!

As you can see, this incarnation of Gaara has grown far too large for conventional clothing, so he’s ditched his bodysuit and is covered only by the white sashes that accented his original outfit and the leather strap attached to his gourd of sand.

I’m extremely pleased with the final product, especially how well ~Felsus captured Gaara’s intimidating presence.
